A day of interactive discussions, performance, activism, education & spontaneous artmaking in celebration of the arts community in Victoria. Featuring keynote talk from Vancouver writer, arts policy consultant, and cultural commentator Max Wyman, author of The Defiant Imagination: The Importance of Arts and Culture to Modern Canada. Come throw down your ideas and be inspired by the contagious energy of our local arts community. This program is offered in support of our current exhibition of contemporary BC art, “Throw Down”, which explores & celebrates the creative struggle and the process of making-art now.
