Come celebrate Ferdy Belland's birthday with an unforgettable evening of wild-ass live entertainment featuring some of Vancouver's best bands!
FERDY BELLAND has been making much of a not-so-quiet name for himself as a modern-day Renaissance Man in the Vancouver music community. He's a gifted bassist with those hard-rocking degenerates known as the Belushis, as well as the psychedelic folk stalwarts The Gentle Infidels, and he can pull off a credible John Deacon impersonation with local Queen tribute Stone Cold Crazy (and you probably saw him back in the day playing with either The Feminists, Anger Power Fury and the Filth, Duvallstar, Sister Sabbath, Parallel Lines, Vancouver Nights or the Skeleton Kings). He's a talented wordsmith whose insightfully positive journalism was found in the pages of Terminal City, The Nerve and the Skinny. And he had the balls to sport a long ponytail when it just wasn't cool at all. So here he is, celebrating his 41st birthday in ageless rock'n'roll style at the mighty Railway Club. Buy him a beer or something! http//:www.facebook.com/ferdy.belland
