This Remembrance Day long weekend... Surge, Upstairs Cabaret and CFUV are proud to present the first official Full Moon Party.
The party kicks off Thursday November 10th at 10pm when the full moon is high in the sky. Time to put on your brightest attire, cover your body in glow paint, and get ready to wild out Thai style. DJs Omri, Juice and Hennessy will be laying down an eclectic mix of house, funk, electro, disco-house, brazilian house, tech house, progressive house, trance, and dubstep - a lil' something for everyone. Get ready to dance till your legs give out while enjoying drink specials served by Victoria's premier staff.

Passion and energy combined with a love for music allows DJ Omri to electrify the dance floor and mesmerize crowds. The Israeli born DJ/producer has won several DJ competitions on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver, and has generated an ever increasing following, earning him several residencies over the last year in Victoria and Vancouver. In recent months Omri has played alongside international acts such as Paul Anthony, Felix Cartal, Harvard Bass, Wolfgang Gartner,and Fedde Le Grand, to name a few. Omri’s desire to advance his skills combined with his unmistakable talent makes him one of Canada’s most exciting up-and-coming DJ’s. More recently, Omri has been nominated to win the Best New DJ category in the Victoria Nightlife Awards. Be sure to check out this sound and experience the high-energy and excitement of these sets.

Ryan Ju-ice hails from Canmore, Alberta – a small, majestic mountain town nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Despite spending his formative years in the Wild Rose country, Ryan was born Gangster. That is, he has always, and continues to, draw inspiration from the grimiest of hood symphonies. Ju-ice’s impromptu relocation to the West Coast, however, has slowly and methodically infused funk, electro, disco-swing, house and general womp wompiness into his eccentric palette. Ju-ice has garnered a reputation for consistently bringing crowds to the dance floor and compelling them to have insane amounts of fun making him a household name in several Victoria party circles.
As Jui-ce himself puts it,“I just really, really like facilitating a good time. When there’s good music, people have more fun – it’s science.”
