DEDfest Horror Film Festival - Day 1
Feature Films and Short Film Competition...
On Friday Oct 28th we will be screening Millennium Bug & Chillerama
"MILLENIUM BUG" (Kenneth Cran - 2011)
Hillbillies, Japanese monster flicks, and end-of-the-world hysteria combine in this highly entertaining throwback to the glorious, pre-CGI movies of the past! Its Christmas, 1999. A suburban family flees the city in preparation for the looming potential Y2K disaster. Unfortunately their retreat is ruined by a family of inbred hillbillies looking for fresh women to breed with. But something else looms in the woods that threatens them all – something monstrous. And it only comes out once a millennium. USA, 88min.

"CHILLERAMA" (Adam Green, Tim Sullivan, Adam Rifkin & Joe Lynch - 2011) From the sick twisted minds that brought you HATCHET, 2001 MANIACS, THE DARK BACKWARD, WRONG TURN 2, and FROZEN comes this gory, silly, and HUGELY funny Creepshow-eqsue anthology of terror! The first segment is the self-explanatory, greaser-meets-horror spoof I WAS A TEENAGE WEREBEAR. Then step into the sticky, jizzy world of WADZILLA, a spoof of 1950's Gaiju flicks. Then peruse a chapter from THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANKENSTEIN, starring Kane Hodder as the monster and HATCHET and AVATAR's Joel David Moore as… Adolph Hitler! Finally, ZOM B MOVIE features the living dead as you've never seen them before: horny as hell! Catch the film that wow'ed audiences at this year's Comicon!
Stars Kane Hodder, Joel David Moore, Eric Roberts, and Ron Jeremy (yes that Ron Jeremy!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=if_xwXWvx8c
