THE JEN HUANGS :
This foursome uses their eclectic taste in music to create something unconviential out of the opposite. Their unique sound encompasses elements from nearly every decade of the 20th century, and employs numerous instruments to do so. With drums kicking, guitars licking, double bass going, trumpet blowing and according...accordioning. The Jen Huangs style of mariachi bluesabilly promises to shake things up and get crowds moving. An E.P slated for a summer/fall 2011 release leaves only one question unanswered - who is Jen Huang?
BLACKED OUT:
Originally hailing from Banff, Alberta, Blacked Out is a three-piece punk/thrash band who now calls Vancouver, British Columbia home. With fast, punchy songs, constant touring, and a genuine love for havin' a good time, Blacked Out has built a strong and loyal fan base around Western Canada. Originally created by Dicker and Morgan in a dirty basement apartment, the band attracted cops, angry neighbours, and Binky the deer. Finding a bass player in Banff wasn't easy for them, but eventually some guy named Wade came over to jam and drink a few beers. The cops were there faster than ever, Wade had the worst car on the planet, and Blacked Out was born. 2009 saw the boys release their debut, full-lenth album entitled "Life Beyond the Line", and all their moms kinda liked it.
REAL PROBLEMS:
Real Problems is a three piece rock n roll wrecking ball. They formed in late 2009 and now it's party time.
THE BONE DADDIES:
The Bone Daddies are 5 peice ska/punk/rockabilly band hailing from the Ridge Radical. Their blend of styles & influences range from Rancid to Tom Waits, provide a unique listening experience. Mix it in with their energetic stage show & you've got yourself a musical momentum that's impossible not to get swept up in. Their self titled debut is available now featuring skankables song such as: "Karma", "Bad Reaction", "System Crash" & more!
