Traditional Song in Harmony with Norah Rendell

Sing your heart out in sweet harmony! Come and spend a summer's evening delving into beautiful acapella arrangements of traditional songs from Ireland and Scotland. At least one song will be a dance tune in the Irish language, so come with an open mind ready for a challenge. Participants are encouraged to bring a recording device.

Norah Rendell is the lead vocalist of The Outside Track, Cleia and founding (and former) member of The No Shit Shirleys. Recently appointed Executive Director of the Center for Irish Music in Saint Paul, Minnesota, she has been developing arrangements of traditional songs for a popular class at the non-profit Irish music school.
