BRAVE NEW WAVES:
Brave New Waves are embarking on their 3rd Western Canadian Tour with their amazing new 2nd studio album "island style" named in honour of their home the one and only Vancouver Island, British Columbia! With a sound as powerful and unique as their island home Brave New Waves are nearing their 4th year as a band and have been consistently playing packed shows, huge festivals, busy Bars, and Popular Nightclubs honing their skills and developing their unique island sound into an original style of its own and all the hard work and dedication has really come out in the recording of their new album!

Drawing much inspiration from such influential acts as SUBLIME, Slightly Stoopid, 311, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, The Aggrolites, and even Paul Simon just to name a few of our top favorites, Brave New Waves have always had a wide array of musicians that inspire them and influence their style and songwriting :) If you love Funky Reggae infused with SKA, Latin beats, and World rhythms all wrapped into an Origional Island Style music that makes you feel like its summertime and makes you want to dance and smile the second you hear it then you will love Vancouver Islands Original Island Style Music makers Brave New Waves.
