Sarah Wheeler:
“One of Vancouver’s punchiest indie singers.”-Fish Griwkowsky Edmonton Sun
Sarah Wheeler is a dyed-in-the-wool singer songwriter. With the upcoming release of her third album, Out of the Woodwork, Sarah’s ambition is to present her songs in a direct and passionate way. Although she has enjoyed collaborating with other musicians, lending her vocals to recordings such as “A Small Wonder” by A.C. Newman of the New Pornographers, and sharing the stage with bands including the Be Good Tanyas, this Vancouver-based roots artist has remained focused on writing and performing her own music with vigilant integrity.

devilsplender
A guitar shredding skater from the prairies, Rob Malowany rolled into Vancouver’s music scene with plans and a passion to make them happen. Recording under the alias devilsplender, the bandleader/songwriter/producer has 6 full length albums to his credit. Hometown Riot (2009) is the latest. His concert experience rings through at every gig. Sharing bills with such rocking notables as The Dudes, Black Mountain and the legendary NoMeansNo as well as roots and blues mainstays such as the Lowest of the Low, the Bughouse 5 and Rodney DeCroo & The Convictions, the devilsplender show is varied as his influences.

Bradley
"He spurts out carefully crafted chunks of alt-pop beauty through strange electro-acoustic experimentation. Using a bric-a-brac array of synths, computers, drums machines and fuzzed-out guitars, Bradley hopscotches from early day Beck to latter day Jay Reatard."

Lovers Love Haters
You will like Lovers Love Haters if you are all about simple songs with catchy melodies. Based around synths and jangly guitars...reminiscent of the new wave sound. This is the new project of Debora Cohen formerly from the band 'the Organ'.

We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
