If anyone remembers the last show at Lucky Bar when THE IDLERS played with The Novamatics and Bananafish Dance Orchestra they will probably have fond memories of coming to one of the craziest shows we've hosted all summer (apart from the shows at Victoria's 11th Annual Ska Festival). Anyway The Idlers are going to make the mammouth trek from Canada's far east to far west - one Island to another...

As you may already know The Idlers are an eleven-piece reggae circus from St. John's, Newfoundland. Their unique sound comes from a love for reggae, ska, and afro-beat, peppered with a little Celtic. Ringmaster Mark Wilson fronts a solid rhythm section, and heavy horns, bringing audiences to frenzy since they began in April 2006.
