Event Description
FACEFEST 15
at the Wise Hall (New venue!!)
Saturday, September 25, 2010, Doors at 7:00pm.
Wise Hall, 1882 Adanac St. Vancouver
Faceplant Productions is proud to announce our fifteenth consecutive year of Facefest, annual 'fun-raiser' for FacePlant, eastside Vancouver rehearsal studio. We celebrate Faceplant’s eighteenth birthday as always, by showcasing an eclectic selection of professional and budding Vancouver musicians.
This year, the show is primarily a benefit for Piewacket, the studio’s mascot cat, also in her fifteenth year and recently the recipient of some very expensive and fortunately successful medical treatment.
The one-night bands-travaganza will take place on Saturday, September 25th at a new venue, the friendly neighbourhood Wise Hall. For the past six years, we...’ve held the show at the Railway Club with tremendous success, and hope for a good turnout at the Wise Hall this time around.
Previous shows have had as many as thirty-five bands on during the one night, a superhuman feat of cooperation and coordination, and made possible due to two stages. This year we’re going for back-to-back performances as usual, but on the one much larger stage, with a double backline.
So far, the lineup for FACEFEST 15 is as follows:
Shiloh Lindsay, Motorama, Evan Symons, The Rain & the Sidewalk, Little Guitar Army, Victory Square, The Surf Messiahs, Amplitude, Gnash Rambler, Suck Up To God, Blonde & Blonder, The Strugglers, Gold Stars Are For Suckers, Rumsfeld and more…
.
The doors open at 7:00 PM and the show runs until 1:00am. Tickets are $15 at the door. Come join in the fun!
