The Bonfire Ball revue tour will bring together three artists for a unique night of collaboration that is as intertwined as their musical lineage. Instead of the typical show in which each act plays its own set, Jason Collett, Zeus and Bahamas will seamlessly integrate the songs of all three artists into a cohesive night-long set of incredible music. At times you will find Collett strumming softly on the guitar alone; Zeus pounding out their rich pop numbers; or Bahamas melting the rocks in your glass; then find them all back together again in full force. The energy, the creativity, the inherent knowledge each musician brings to the stage, of their fellow musician, will make for a unique and exciting night, each and every night along the tour.
In Jason's own words:
"I would like to explore the idea of me being the first one on stage playing solo. I think it serves to immediately subvert people's notions about what to expect from the evening, which I like. After that, we will build into Bahamas and Zeus songs, back to my own, and continue this alchemy of music throughout the night. I imagine we'll interchange parts so each night is unique and never formulaic. We've even discussed the idea of coming out for an encore with us all playing a big batch of covers - wedding band styles."
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
