TYRANAHORSE - A Tyranahorse is a monster and monsters are good. Emerging on Pterodactyl Island, Tyranahorse is the best of human creation - the product of unbridled imagination, the dream of all dreams. When the beast was young she got hit and yelled at and learned to protect herself in self-destructive ways. When the beast was betrayed she had nowhere to turn and her loneliness was amplified. A SHEEP AT THE WHEEL fuses pulsing riff-laden verses, huge hooky choruses and powerful vocals in an original alt-rock package. Since the 2005 release of their first EP, Blend, the Sheep won the UBC Battle of the Bands, were voted among the top three new independent bands two years running in the Georgia Straight, have played BC Place and the Pacific Coliseum, and opened for big acts like Finger Eleven, Edwin, and Wide Mouth Mason. MATTHEW MEI WITH YOU BRIGHT MINDS - Having traveled the world as the son of a preacher man, Matt's initial introduction to the world of music was his dads classical, old blues and folk records, but it was his struggles in life and his soulful growth that fueled his desire to write emotional and heartfelt songs. DANIEL HUSCROFT is a natural talent whose musical journey began at an early age with classical violin and piano, but it wasnt until age thirteen that he met his true love when he picked up an electric guitar and began ripping Vivaldi violin concertos through a distortion pedal. As an integral member of the Sarah Kelly Band, he garnered multiple awards and Grammy nominations as well as playing and recording with G'n'R producer Mike Clink and guitarist Slash. His own band Strada touring with acclaimed bands including Tea Party, Switchfoot and Stabilo prior to their dissolution in 2006, after which he formed Cowboys And Indians with collaborators Ryan McAllister and Barnaby McRae.
