--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anna Acevedo Lyman Latin Band:

Latin-American Jazz Vocalist from Motown!

Anna is a naturalized Canadian of 1/2 Mexican and 1/2 Scottish-Irish-English heritage who grew up in Motown (Detroit).

Whether she swings, or broods over a ballad, Anna's lush vocals go straight to the heart.

"She has a voice like melted chocolate" - Goody Niosi - The Harbour City Star.

"Sensual, melodious...makes us think we should order champagne" - Jan DeGrass - The Coast Reporter.

"A Voice like Honey, Songs like Wine" - Stephen Wortman - Rutgers-Newark Observer.

Anna Acevedo Lyman: Voice / Hand Percussion.
Darcy Phillips: Piano.
Steve Sutton: Electric and Acoustic Bass.
Johnny Lucas: Drums.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Evans & Church:

Vancouver Island based Acoustic Guitar Duo, who perform their own Mediterranean & Middle Eastern influenced Jazz compositions.

The passionate and sensual music of Evans & Church evokes the mystery and romance of exotic, faraway lands.

Vincent F. Evans: Guitars / Hand Percussion / Keyboards.
Richard Church: Guitars / Hand Percussion / Keyboards.

www.ChannelEau.com

"The music itself is both passionate and organic. Church lays the foundation of a basic chord progression, which he constantly varies with different voicings and rhythms, over which Evans provides "extensive rhapsodic improvisation." Evans' improvisation is intuitive. The result is sensual and mesmerizing, transporting the listener from the mundane to the extraordinary."

- Lisa Szeker-Madden - Focus magazine.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cuica Nova:

Cuica Nova (“kwee-kah no-vah”) is a Vancouver Island based, Latin inspired Jazz / Pop group, fronted by singer/songwriter Meagan Devauld.

Multi-lingual lyrics, pop melodies and jazz harmonies over upbeat grooves, inspired by Cuban Salsa, Brazilian Samba and Afro-Caribbean Pop.

Cuica Nova perform English, French, Spanish and Portuguese originals, that will make you want to take off to a tropical beach, sip pina coladas and dance.

Meagan Devauld: Voice / Piano.
Brad Hawkes: Congas / Cajon / Bongos / Percussion.
Alvaro Moreno: Bass / Backing Voice / Cuica.
Linda Bergeron: Backing Voice / Auxilliary Percussion.
