Event Description

The purpose of the festival is to draw attention to the park and keep it a much-needed greenspace for the people of the downtown eastside.
The Whitecaps will once again enquire about building a stadium very close to the park which would compromise the natural beauty of the park and destroy the bird sanctuary adjacent to it.
