JAKALOPE - was first spawned in the creative mind of world-renowned producer and mixer, Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson). His conceptual aim was towards a new musical hybrid rooted in industrial music but flowing smoothly between searing rock and melodic pop. With new singer Chrsytal Leigh on board (Perfect Strangers, Closing Iris), their latest CD "Delicious" has graduated from the sheet-metal bubblegum blueprint of their first two albums into something slinkier and more substantial. Previously repressed influences like Giorgio Moroder and Michael Jackson have surfaced, leading naturally to a lush, multi-dimensional sound with a neon-lit, smoke-infused feel. With past and present collaborators including Trent Reznor and members of Rush, Sloan, Ministry, Monster Magnet, Sons Of Freedom and Babes In Toyland, their music has been featured by Instant Star and as the intro theme for Degrassi: The Next Generation while their cover art won a 2005 Juno Award. http://www.myspace.com/jakalope

JOSEPH BLOOD & The BLUETICK HOUN'DOGS - Joseph Blood's career as an acclaimed Vancouver-based guitar player has seen him playing stages in seven different countries and sharing bills with acts ranging from Spirit of the West to 2 Live Crew. Hitting all the best parts of modern Americana, his songs are a blend of dark country, celtic punk and chamber pop.
