Event Description

Local performers invoking the muse of film have been busy creating musical narratives to silent era era films. With the work nearly complete and the
night close at hand, we are very pleased to announce the complete program for Sound and Vision, a night of silent cinema with original scores performed live. Scores will be performed in accompaniment to some of
the most memorable moments of the silent era in what promises to
be a unique and wonderfully insightful event.

1. David P. Smith ”Un Chien d’Andalou”
(Luis Bunuel, 1929)
2. Dan Wisenburger “Metropolis”
(Fritz Lang, 1927)
3. Lily Fawn & Grayson Walker “the Courtship of Sun and Moon”
(George Melies, 1907)
4. Joey MacDonald “the Kid”
(Charlie Chaplin, 1921)
5. Ruthie & Winfi eld/the Old Hand & Diamond - “Faust”
(FW Marnau, 1926)
6. SP3CK (feat. Michael Baker, Isaac Flagg & Kris North) - “Haxan”
(Benjamin Christensen, 1922)

Doors open at 7:00pm, followed by performances at 7:30pm. Tickets are
on sale now at Ditch Records & Lyle’s Place - Please note that advance
tickets are encouraged. This unique series of dynamic and insightful
interpretations of the age old medium is not to be missed.
