. Friday, Oct 10th I.M.U. presents CRADLE TO GRAVE, NOIZE TRIBE ZERO & CHOSEN @ The Bourbon, 50 West Cordova . Early show 8-11pm sharp / Purchase advance tickets online @ www.imuproductions.com
CRADLE TO GRAVE deliver the kind of metal that makes you want to slam your fist in the air. Raw, aggressive & abrasive, they mix in a dirty southern metallic style that makes you want to swig whiskey straight from the bottle, raise your devil horns and slam your head wildly in the air. Their original blend of aggressive, extreme thrash metal is raw, abrasive and hits you in the chest at full throttle, while intense lyrics draw from opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, adding depth to their furious sonic assult.
NOIZE TRIBE ZERO "weaves through combinations of industrial, jazz, and metal in a mind numbing assault on the senses" (The Nerve), and captivates their audience’s attention with a dynamic combination of music and visuals, with various samples mixed with industrial beats played alongside video projections designed specifically for each song. There are no pauses in the set, and the sonic bombast is embued with many layers of meaning in both their songwriting and visuals.
CHOSEN - Fusing elements of extreme metal with crushing heaviness, CHOSEN are a band fully intent on taking their multi-layered music to a wider audience. These enthusiastic stalwarts have made a name for themselves in the metal community, gaining much recognition and appreciation for their solid musicianship, distinctive songwriting and high-energy live shows. Formed in Ireland, they've released 4 well-received EPs and have recently relocated halfway around the globe to Vancouver. "These guys know how to knock the shit out of a song; they do it with skill, originality, aggression, and undeniable talent." -- Scene Point Blank
