MASS UNDERGOE play dynamic, heavy, thoughtful alt/rock songs with reckless abandon for an ever-growing fanbase, and have recently played shows with Ill Scarlett, Gob, Incura & Ninjaspy. They've been called Hard Rock, Pop Rock, Metal, Modern Rock and Indie, but Mass Undergoe aims to be diverse and unapologetic for loving all types of music, heavy or not. Successful career highlights to date include regular MuchMusic & MuchLoud rotation, VideoFACT support, extensive cross-Canada touring and two sold out indie showcases for Toronto's 102.1 The Edge.
With new music, a new EP and renewed energy, Mass Undergoe shares their belief in music, art, YOUTH, humour (some of it highly inappropriate) and change.
The PERFECT TREND believe in making meaningful songs that never use the same formula twice -- honest music that spans all genres and is open to anything and everything. "It's unpredictable what we do live. We've brought Nintendos on stage, jumped off side walls and other bands' drum sets, and have had dance-offs with the crowd. Whether it be having a female vocalist guest with us, or a song thats full of double-kicking mayhem and screaming, or acoustic bridges and funk-filled choruses, there's no limits or bounderies." With over 100 shows under their belt, the Perfect Trend are mature in sound and are working hard every day to make their message heard.
The FURY is a female-fronted rock group new to the indie scene. Each member of the band has a diverse musical background ranging from classical training to ska and R&B, contributing an aggressive melodic sense that complements their heavy-hitting playing. Their metal, rock and punk influences definitely take a front seat when it comes to the band's guitar-driven backbone, adding a dose of energy to their upbeat and driving sound.
