Event Description

Three singer songwriters join together to bring you an incredible evening of West Coast songwriting. Mike Demers (Nuvo Wavo/ Beatles Revolution) has been an active songwriter in Victoria since the late 80s (Jho Nek Bhone) and brings to the stage some of the material he is recording this summer for a fall cd release. Camille Miller (Vancouver based singer) is orginally from the island and bring her stunning voice and songs to Victoria for this special show. She will be playing songs from her latest cd "Somewhere Near the Truth". Justin Hewitt has just released an impressive cd (Self-titled) and this show at the Black Stilt will be one of several local shows he is playing this month. Joining each of the singers will be drummer/percussionist Murray Creed who has played with all three artists on stage. Murray operates and teaches at Victoria's premier drum teaching studio "Groove Studios". The music starts at 7 and goes until close to 10 pm - seating is limited so get there early! Cover of $5.00
