Event Description

The Impromaniacs, Victoria’s original Improv company, are pleased to bring you SHOPPING FOR LOVE, at the Victoria Event Centre, 1415 Broad Street on Thursday, December 20th at 8:00 pm.

Join us as we explore the story of one character inspired by suggestions from the audience, and created on the spot. The true character will be revealed as we explore their life through the eyes of people who have known our character in different ways. Secrets desires, hope and dreams, long lost love...who knows what we will find as we dig deep into the life of our character. We begin with musical chairs, and separate in to the different facets of the main character’s life, and explore while Shopping For Love.
The evening will be a variety of short scenes, and theatre games in addition to our long form presentation of Shopping for Love- we've got something for everyone! Bring the whole family (and your best suggestions) out for this evening of great live entertainment.

Where: Victoria Event Centre, 1415 Broad Street – right across from the A-Channel
When: Thursday, December 20th, 2007
Doors open: 7:30pm
Performance starts: 8:00 pm (100 minute run, includes one 20 minute intermission)
Tickets at door: $10 General, $8 for Students/Seniors
Advance Tickets: $7 General, $5 for Students/Seniors
