The 6th Annual Aunt Leah's Lonely Hearts Club Band Benefit Show will be held on Saturday, December 8th, at the Polish Community Center. The Benefit is an evening of entertainment with some of Vancouver's best local performers playing their favorite Beatles songs. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the Aunt Leah's Independent Lifeskills Society to help support mothers and their babies in the Thresholds Residential Program.
The 2007 benefit show will be MC'ed by Margaret Gallagher and Fred Lee of CBC Radio. The scheduled performers include: Jim Byrnes, Sarah Wheeler, Jazzberry Ram, The Beauties, Attics and Cellars, and SOL.
The event is set to take place at The Polish Community Center located at 4015 Fraser St. starting at 8 PM. Tickets are $30.00 in advance at Clubzone.com, Zulu Records, Highlife and the Aunt Leah's Thrift Store, and $35.00 at the door.
