Event Description

The Victoria Electronic Music Festival is a non-profit, free/all ages event presented by the Northwest Entertainment Foundation, and produced by Symbiant Entertainment and Linear Design.

Now in its 4th year, the 2007 VEMF will take place on August 4th and 5th in Market Square, situated in the heart of downtown Victoria, BC. Having gained a solid reputation for providing top quality entertainment, artist representation, and customer attractions, VEMF receives exceptional support from the media and local community. Last year's expansion to a two-day event saw more than 5,000 people check out the show and the seminars. We expect this year's relocation to Market Square to open up the event to an even wider audience and an even more diverse talent set: both onstage and backstage hosting VEMF interactive.

Thirty-eight artists and groups will be bringing you beats from your head to your feet in Market Square this August long weekend. Highlights include John Kelley, Simply Jeff, Myagi, last year's crowd favourite The Firm, the sweet voice of ill-esha, and rising stars Death to Sexy.
