Event Description

Hailing from Victoria, Kathryn Whitney studied singing in Toronto and New York and has recently completed her formal music training at Oxford University and at the Guildhall School of Music in London. She was elected Creative Arts Fellow (artist in residence) at Wolfson College, Oxford in 2002.

The programme includes songs in French by Faur� and Debussy, the Italian cantata Arianna a Naxos by Haydn (said to have been Haydn's favourite composition) and songs by composers from Britain and America.
