Beginning with its 2000 self-titled debut and the follow-up, The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek, Relient K has been building a loyal and passionate following thanks to its catchy, high-energy pop punk. The band’s power-pop supremacy continued with 2004’s Mmhmm. The album’s success led to slots opening for Good Charlotte and Simple Plan, and to the main stage of the Vans Warped Tour 2005. Five Score and Seven Years Ago, its latest, is considered by the band to be its most upbeat record yet. The success of “Must Have Done Something Right”, the first single off the album, is proving Relient K’s fans are still out there, with more being made every day.
