Event Description

on sale fri, dec 15 @ 10am

With special guest Kyle Riabko.
“Over My Head (Cable Car)” catapulted The Fray into the spotlight. That song, which soared into the top ten of Billboard’s Hot 100 and was a hit in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand as well, introduced the Denver quartet to millions of listeners worldwide. The follow-up, “How to Save a Life”, was also a hit, and helped The Fray’s album of the same name go on to sell over 1.5 million copies and reach the top 15 of the Billboard 200 album charts.

The 2005 album is still going strong, too, as songs have been featured on popular television series like Grey’s Anatomy and Scrubs. The Fray also swept the digital category at the 2006 Billboard Music Awards, including the categories for Digital Songs Artist of the Year, Digital Album Artist of the Year, and Digital Album of the Year for How to Save a Life. Often compared to Coldplay thanks to lead singer Isaac Slade’s expert piano playing and supple vocals, the Epic recording artists’ melodic, mid-tempo pop is among modern-rock’s most heartfelt, and recognizable, sounds.
