"Let's Paint with Sharon"
I teach classes from my home studio. I had a retail store for 12 years here on the Westshore called "Let's Paint!", where I taught painting classes, painted commission work (murals and paintings) and sold art supplies. In 2010, I closed the retail store & relocated it into my home.The painting studio is nice and bright with a huge picture window and lots of paintings on the walls for inspiration.
When you come and paint you will have lots of room, your own 3' x 5' table with accompanying furniture to put your supplies on so you have as much table space for your project/paints/brushes when you are painting.
I like to keep my classes are small (1-2 painters, the odd time 3) allowing you to receive as much help, instructions & as many demonstrations from me as you would like. I will guide you step by step, at your own pace.
No prerequisites/experience needed, I will guide you with as much help as you would like. From learning about the many different kinds of brushes you can use, how to use them, what you can use them for to paint, to care for your brushes, learning about the variety of painting supplies available. learning different panting techniques and so much more.
My classes are very laid back & relaxing with an emphasis on having fun and learning new things along the way. My intention is to guide you with suggestions as you work on your painting, leading you to a finished painting that you will love.
Class fees are per hour, the more hours pre-purchased the lower the hourly rate. As low as less than $10 per hour. Please contact me for rates. Classes & studio visits are by appointment.
