About

shamble

since circa 2000
The story of how Shamble came to be begins with Cory. He tried to get a group of guys together back in August 2000. They came up with the band's name. Their lack of musical ability and dedication soon led Cory to find other people to work with. Daniel joined him in April of 2001 as a rhythm guitarist, and in him Cory found someone who truly shared his devotion to the dream. After a few more switch-ups in the line-up, Shamble's comedic lead singer quit, and Cory and Daniel approached Jen and asked her to front the band in January 2002. Later that year we decided we needed another guitarist to fill out our sound. By now Daniel had taken over the role of lead and Cory found Jarrett in August of 2002; we asked him to join our little tribe. His sound added a whole new dimension to songs such as Break of Dawn, but Jarrett's style is also distinctively different from Daniel's, so having him around really broadened our song-writing horizons. In the Summer of 2003 we found ourselves looking for a new drummer. Dan came in to audition in August and instantaneously won us over with his unbelievable skill and work ethic. We played our first show together at Stardust's Band Wars in September of 2003, after only having Dan with us for a month or so. To our surprise, we placed first that night. Since then we have gone on to bigger things such as The Fox presenting us at Cheers and some air time. we are always looking to do shows so drop us a line if your looking for a heavy yet melodic band to help kick ass at an upcoming show.
