A true drumming legend, Roy Haynes has witnessed and participated in nearly every major development in jazz from atop the bandstand, where he’s played alongside such luminaries as Louis Armstrong, Lester Young, Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughan, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, and Pat Metheny.
