Robby Marr

Robby Marr Basses/vocals- A professional musician since 1987, Rob has performed with some of Vancouver's top musicians, including The Keith Bennett Band, Simon Jarrett Band, Crosswind featuring Jennie Emery and the Payolas featuring Paul Hyde and most recently Billy Dixon's Soul Train Express . Rob studied electric and acoustic bass between 1985 to 1987 at Capilano College under instructors Tom Hazilit, Rene' Worst and Torbon Oxbal.He was also part of the National Award winning Capilano College Big Band that won Top Honors at Music Fest 87' in Calgary Alberta. Rob is a hard working & dedicated bassist that takes pride in playing all types of music such as Jazz,Pop,Rock,Blues, Reggae,WorldBeat,Country. Rob Also teaches privately and does Jazz Combo workshops at local High Schools as well.
