Broadcasting 350 watts of independent radio at 101.9FM from the top of Gage Towers, CiTR is a progressive student-run campus and community radio station housed at UBC. Listen in on the fm dial, on our live stream or download and subscribe to podcasts of our unqiue, alternative programming. More than Vancouver's source for local and indie music, CiTR also covers campus and community news, live UBC sports coverage, arts and culture reviews and features. CiTR is operated by a small friendly staff and over 300 volunteers, with 86 locally produced programs broadcast in English, Spanish, Russian, Italian and Amharic. Our programming features every genre of music and talk radio that covers politics, sex, comic books, cabaret, sports, queer and local issues. In addition to our programming, we publish the free award-winning magazine Discorder (local music, art and subculture), with 8,000 copies distributed monthly around Vancouver.
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
