Rental / Usage RestrictionsRENTAL POLICIES
-Room(s) must be left in the same condition as found or a fee of $25 per hour for custodial services will
be charged.
-Use of the facility is limited to the room(s) indicated in the contract, including access to phone and WiFi.
-Rental does not include access to administrative suite, office supplies or office equipment.
-The kitchen may be used during the rental provided all Kitchen Usage Rules are followed.
-Posters, leaflets or displays are to be secured only with green painters masking tape.
-All areas of the Baumann Centre are NON-SMOKING
-We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
-You will be held responsible for any and all loss or damage caused in the areas of use during the time you are on premises.
-The Renter must put away, in its original place, all furniture or equipment used during the rental.
-Early access, or use of the premises past the booked exit time will result in additional room charges and staffing charges at the prevailing hourly rate.
-Any permits and/or licenses required for the rental event will be obtained by, and at the expense of, the Renter. Copies of which will be submitted to Pacific Opera Victoria five days prior to rental.
-Pacific Opera Victoria reserves final determination of technical and event staffing, depending on the requirements of each event. The renter is responsible for the cost of additional staffing, which will be billed hourly.
-Use of any external theatrical lighting, sound or other technical equipment will require a Pacific Opera Victoria Technician. All costs associated with the rental or purchase of additional technical equipment over and above the available inventory is the responsibility of the Renter.
-Promotional material may not use the name Pacific Opera Victoria. The Baumann Centre or Wingate Studio, may only be used to designate the location of the event.
-The Renter is required to name Pacific Opera Victoria as an additional insured, and provide Pacific Opera Victoria with a certificate of third-party liability insurance of a minimum of $2 Million.
-Rentals may require a deposit upon signing of the rental agreement, at the discretion of Pacific Opera Victoria.
