The picture is Mike Easton at the controls of a radio station early in his broadcasting career. How far back does Mike's career in radio go? How about a 14 year old student broadcasting from his home in the Doncaster area during the early 1960's? Mike's station COL was so unique given his age that "Big Jim" Ryan from the Times Colonist did an article on it and Mike's broadcast idols at the time, "Mad Mel" Potts and "Rob The Blob" MacAdam from KITN radio dropped by his home based studio.
