Paul Plimley Trio

The Paul Plimley trio is a 20 year long amalgamation of numerous string bassists and drummers who have performed and recorded with pianist and guitarist Paul Plimley. The shifting personnel of rhythm section has taken place with the many musicians Mr Plimley has enjoyed playing with over the years. Including bassists Lisle Ellis, Tommy Babin, William Parker, Mark Helias, Mark Dresser, Barry Guy and Clyde Reed and drummers Gregg Simpson, Donald Robinson, Scott Amendola, Andrew Cyrille, Hamid Drake, Tom Raney, Gilberto Moreaux and Lucas Niggli. We play around the world and have the power to enchant listeners with our collective drawing from a deep musical well.
