Liane Carroll
England’s Liane Carroll developed an early passion for jazz and soul, mostly because both parents were singers. This gifted singer/pianist began performing professionally at 15 and, aside from lots of her own touring, has also hit the road with the likes of Gerry Rafferty and Long John Baldry. A regular headliner at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Carroll has recorded several best-selling albums, including
2011’s Up and Down. She is also the only musician to ever receive two BBC Jazz Awards in the same year. She is touring Canada for the first time and is performing with Roger Carey bass and Mark Fletcher drums.
