Koptor

Koptor is a jazz quartet with an even mix of Canadian and Danish players, with all four united by a commitment to perform modern jazz with no preconceived limits. Whether playing the most visceral and aggressive free jazz or downshifting into a gentle lyricism ripe with melodic inventiveness and a solid groove, these young and immensely talented musicians always display fluidity in their performance. Both their live performances and two CDs have been getting great reviews. The players include Rob Mosher saxophone, Jacob Anderskov piano, Graig Earle bass, and Kevin Brow drums/composer.
