Kayla Radhika Miller

Kayla Radhika Miller (she/her), originally from northwestern Ontario, is a Victoria-based painter, writer, and yoga teacher whose work explores the spiritual language of the arts.

Working primarily in acrylic, her paintings move between representation and abstraction—softening the boundaries of form to evoke an all-permeating, rhythmic presence. Rooted in her study of yoga, tantra, and mystic traditions, her practice approaches art as both a way of perceiving more deeply and an expression of that encounter.

Influenced by artists such as Emily Carr, Lawren Harris, and Hilma af Klint, Miller understands painting as a devotional and perceptual practice. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History, with research examining the influence of the Bhagavad Gītā on Harris and the development of Canadian modernism, and has completed over 900 hours of yoga and meditation teacher training.

Alongside her studio practice, she teaches yoga, philosophy, and creative process as pathways into presence and embodied understanding. Her work has been exhibited in galleries, wellness spaces, and at the Emily Carr House, and is held in private collections internationally.
