About Kamakazi Night
Kamakazi Night was conceived by long-time friends, Neil Murphy and Brett Cranston, while half a world apart from each other. The writing started in the summer of 2005, but it wasn’t until the addition of drummer, Derek Pickles, that the songs finally began to take shape and their sound was born. Several months passed while the fine tuning and writing continued and the time came to add the final piece, front man, Kevin Hallows.
Hallows’ dark, twisted lyrics and endless energy complimented the band’s already catchy, yet dark sound and together they were ready to be heard.
Recently, they have been playing lots of local shows, writing more songs and they have been in the studio finishing up their first EP.
