Internationally renowned, New York based, jazz vocalist José James has an incredible smooth and deep preacher-like voice. He has made great artistic choices to get musical support as good as his vocal talent demands. His first record The Dreamer, released in 2008, is a brilliant jazz project around the work of Alice and John Coltrane. José has recently signed on the legendary Verve label Impulse! and will be releasing a jazz album, For All We Know, with Belgian pianist Jef Neve. With Neve’s supple keyboard skills and interpretive brilliance, the two are fantastic together as they perform gem-like versions of standards such as “Body and Soul” and “Lush Life.”
