The Jarrod Tyler Band performs well crafted, melodically infectious music, often reminiscent of classic Billy Joel and Paul McCartney. The songs are marked by a melodicism derived ultimately from Tin Pan Alley. The band has appeared at such notable venues as The Railway Club, The Roxy, The Backstage Lounge, The Yale, Falconetti’s, The Cellar and the Richmond Night Market Stage. The Band has also appeared in the USA at such venues as, TOST Lounge, Racer Café, Blue Moon (Seattle) and Amplifi, Café Muse, MeowzMeowz, The Glendon, Universal City Walks (Los Angeles). In 2011, while in California, the band led a cross-city bicycle ride to raise awareness about the decay of contemporary arts and culture. The ride spanned from Pomona to Marina Del Ray, ending with a cook-out/badminton tournament at Ocean View Park. Nearly 100 cyclists participated.
