Hailing from Auburn, New York, If Hope Dies bring their idea of heartfelt music and morals to the table. Melodic metal riffing, thrashing and chugging combined with fist tight drums and bass with aggressive social conscious lyrics make for everything you could want in one metal/hardcore band.
Currently on the shelf is the bands 2003 Ironclad Recordings release The Ground Is Rushing up To Meet Us which was then re-released in 2004 by Ironclad/Metal Blade Records with new art work and re-mastered. This solid effort has kept the band more than busy through out the past couple years with non stop touring and growing with their live show. The release was a perfect preview of what If Hope Dies has to offer. In early 2005 the band decided it was time to create a new record to follow up. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Jason Suecof (Trivium, God Forbid, Roadrunner All Stars) at Audiohammer Studios in Orlando, Florida, Life in Ruin is If Hope Dies latest material and is sure to show the bands true talents and win over any fan of modern day metal. Life in Ruin will be in stores everywhere via Ironclad/Metal Blade Records on March 7th 2006.
Having extensive touring under their belt with such bands as Zao, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, It Dies Today, Bury Your Dead, The Red Chord, Most Precious Blood, A Life Once Lost, 3 Inches of Blood and many more, shows that If Hope Dies is making their way around and getting their music to the masses. A history of playing with some of the underground scenes finest and four consecutive Hellfest appearances as well as New England Metal Fest puts If Hope Dies right on top of the game. If Hope Dies has just completed Hatebreed’s Ten Years of Brutality Tour and is poised to hit the road in January 2006 with The Burning Season and A Love for Enemies. Look for If Hope Dies on tour with Still Remains in spring 2006.
With a new record on hand and the passion for touring until they can’t tour anymore, If Hope Dies is headed full force into the metal and hardcore world with the means to tear through any listener in their path.
