Here is What is

Formed in 2007 by bassist Josh Cole (better known as a jazz musician via his work with The October Trio) Here is What Is is made up of a smattering of friends and siblings who have come together over the past two years. The band covers musical ground ranging from indie dance pop to haunting ambient avant-rock, with vocals shared by almost everyone in the band.

Their new EP Done Before It Starts is held together by themes of broken relationships in all their many forms and an almost naive hope that one great melody or drum groove can put it all back together.
