Fred's fear
Label: independent
split circa 2007
With the recent release of their own self-produced, written, and recorded full length album, "When Idiots Attack", three piece punk/rock band Fred's Fear has been making waves in the local scene with a style that breaks the mold and a live performance that'll knock your socks off.
Fronted by a wily Dave Kern on vocals and bass guitar, Dave Marquardt on electric guitar, and Ben Treen on drums, the trio has come together with undeniable chemistry to pump out a repertoire of songs containing style and substance. Fan favorite "Sixty Billion Ways To Die" has been featured on both XFM Radio's Atomic Picnic and CFOX's Punk-O-Rama, and has helped the trio to amass a formidable local following.
With elements that can most easily be compared to a cross between Blink 182 and indi-punk sensation Lagwagon, uncompromising musical arrangements and catchy vocal melodies will have you hooked.
Currently promoting their debut CD "When Idiots Attack", Fred's Fear will be playing a number of shows in the Vancouver area and throughout the lower mainland.
