Emily Hull

I am an illustrator, a painter and a wizard with scissors and a glue stick. Most of my work takes place in my home studio in Victoria, BC.

My work is a playful and loose illustration of life. I paint, stain and draw on miscellaneous paper scraps, which are then cut and assembled into detailed images. I clip wherever I roam, creating a large and impressive library of images to later assemble into illustrations.

I delight in using every last piece as I snip colourful shapes loaded with frenetic mark making to tell stories.
