Electric Blues Euphoria

Since 1995, the members of Electric Blues Euphoria have honed their unlikely influences into a powerfully dynamic and cohesive sound rich with solos and indulgent jamming. Winners of various Battle of the Band competitions (which landed them opening gigs for the Matthew Good Band twice), EBE have firmly established themselves as one of the lower mainland's most unique and promising acts. Influences of guiter-driven, blues/funk-infused rock inspired by the likes of Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers can be heard in many elements of their songs, and the live performance has been hailed as a true homage to when rock shows were something to get excited about. Whether it be David Evan's souped-up drumming, Matt Smith's vocals and wah-flooded guitar riffs, or Geoff Archibald's funked-out basslines - whatever it is they're doing, the EBE boys are doing it great and rockin' out right.
