Brad Howland
Brad Howland holds a B.Mus. degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Master's degree in performance from Northwestern University. Principal teachers included Frank Crisafulli of the Chicago Symphony, Richard Erb of the Louisiana Philharmonic, and Gordon Cherry of the Vancouver Symphony.
Brad Howland is currently principal trombone of the Victoria Symphony Orchestra. His teaching credentials include the University of Victoria, the Victoria Conservatory of Music, the Courtenay Youth Music Centre, and the Marrowstone Music Festival. Brad is a frequent soloist on faculty recitals, and he performed the Albrechtsberger Alto Trombone Concerto with the Victoria Symphony. His quartet Trombones To Go performs school concerts and recitals on Vancouver Island.
