Norm MacPherson turned me on to your site. It's incredible! My name is Bob Konevich I now live in Los Altos, California where I practice law in a small firm. I play a couple of gigs a month at clubs and restaurants around the San Francisco Bay Area, and I'm still writing songs. I still hang with Dave Wilkie when he's down this way. He's got a great band called Cowboy Celtic -- I got to sing a harmony vocal on a Cowboy Celtic c.d. Big Fun! I've been in touch with Norm and Valdy and hope to see them in person soon. Sadly, I just learned of Ron Flatman's passing. I'd love to hear from people who knew me or my bands in Victoria. I loved those years in the 70's when I was playing music in B.C. and Alberta. I was in a later version of Moxie with Norm, Ron Flatman, Rob Deans, Inger the Singer, and Maury Stearns. After that, Dave and I formed a bluegrass band, Northern Flyer, and moved to Calgary. While living in Victoria I worked at Talisman Music on Yates for a time in the early 70's. Contact me at [email protected]
We're here to help artists and arts organizations reach their audiences and each other.
Non-profit run and created by the community, ArtsVictoria.ca integrates current event listings and multimedia arts portfolios, and creates an explorable, living archive of the arts in Victoria BC.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
