There are no words to describe the incredible loss the musical community suffered this past Fall with the passing of Banjo Hall of Fame inductee Borgy Borgeson.
Avram Devon McCagherty learned from Borgy his rare chord melody jazz banjo technique with special tuning and wanted to play an all banjo matinee in honour of Borgy’s memory. A show of a gratitude and a tribute to a good friend, a great teacher and a musical giant.
Avram will be joined by the incomparable Matt Pease on drums, washboard and rubber chicken.
Avram and Matt play together in the Capital City Syncopators. A Prohibition Era dance band seen most regularly ( if not recently ) at the weekly Tuesday Speakeasy.
Thank you so much for tuning in to help honour Borgy

For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
