About

Chris Giguère
"Chris Gigs"

Singer-songwriter guitarist Chris Giguère writes memorable songs of reflection, insight and pondering that meet you at the intersection of folk, country, and rock.

Chris performs solo and with collaborators: Jen Mulvale (percussion, backing vocals) and Jared MacKay (bass) are The Larks.

“Singer-songwriter” or “indie-folk” are genre labels that most closely describe the style of music the group creates. While most of their repertoire is comprised of Chris’ original songs, they also enjoy putting their own stamp on material by artists such as Tom Petty, Blue Rodeo, Jason Isbell, Gillian Welch, The Barr Brothers, and others.
