Kenny Ivimey is a singer/songwriter from Kingston, Ontario. Primarily known for blending epic and emotional falsetto driven melodies with catchy guitar riffs, he also delves into the more cheeky and light hearted aspects of his personality through his music. Kenny's music is often reminiscent to that of the early 2000's pop/punk movement. Kenny has been performing in the Kingston music scene for years, but he found new life through live streaming on Twitch during the pandemic, developing and utilizing his improv and writing skills in front of a live audience. After an eye opening experience in the music industry, Kenny is now self-producing his own music.
The first 10 years of his life, he grew up in Bath, Ontario which is a small town outside of Kingston. He spent most his childhood outdoors in nature where he let his creative mind flourish. Growing up, Kenny struggled with attendance at school and always felt out of sync with the expectations of his teachers. When it comes to music and the arts however, Kenny immerses himself fully. Even when faced with setbacks and disappointments, he continues to push forward and find solace in music. He didn't choose this life, it chose him.
