Carla Olive

An accomplished classically trained pianist and self-taught guitarist, Carla has been performing professionally for 25 years. Passionate about writing, she has released 6 recording projects and her latest set to release Winter 2022. At 23 years old, she toured with a country music band backing up an aspiring female artist from Kamloops BC, honing their skills touring the circuit of bars from Calgary to Whitehorse (twice), and Calgary to Yellowknife, then finally to Nashville performing on Broadway nearly everyday. This experience inspired many other projects focused on original music, performing in all venues Western Canada and across the country. An advocate for Women In Music, Carla encourages and curates musical opportunities through her current project St. Cecilia and The Indie YYC Creative series.
